Major Newspapers Announce Kindle DX Versions On The Way

8:57 pm Technology

The Washington Post and The New York Times have already announced that they will be launching special editions for the new amazon kindle dx in the summer of 2009. It’ll be interesting to see how the latest addition to the e-book reader arsenal impacts upon already declining sales of printed versions of newspapers. Newsprint will probably be around for a long time to come but falling sales have prompted editors and owners to look at new ways to get to market – and to consider the various ways of monetizing those marketing channels. The early adopters will probably be best placed to profit in the near to mid future.
