Of course, the main benefit to going with a small, local commercial collection agency is that you will usually have to pay less for their services. You will also be able to form a good business relationship with them. On the other hand though, you may find that a small, commercial collection agency is unable to provide you with a lot of the extras that a bigger collection agency can provide you with, such as having attorneys on their staff. If you feel that you are going to need an attorney or if you have a large number of past due accounts, then more than likely you are going to want to go with a bigger commercial collection agency.
