Offering Model Trains on Freecycle
July 30, 2009 3:12 am MiscellaneousI belong to a Yahoo group called freecycle, and sometimes I am amazed at the things people give away! Just the other day, a man was giving away a whole bunch of model trains. And they weren’t just bits and pieces either, they were entire tracks, complete with the train (of course), scenery, props, and large tables to set them up on. So I sent him a reply, asking for a set for my son. He had already promised them, but out of curiosity I sent him another e-mail, asking where he had gotten them. He said he was cleaning out the basement of a house he had just bought, and the previous owners had left them behind.
