Getting your ex back – time really does make a difference
August 19, 2009 10:18 am MiscellaneousIf there is any consolation to what you’re going through right now after the breakup, it’s that just about every human being has gone through the same thing. At least, that was a small comfort when I was struggling to come to grips with the worst breakup of my life. To say that I was a mess was an understatement.
In the days following getting dumped, the only thing I could think about was how can I get my ex back?Nothing else in this entire world mattered anymore as long as I could not return to that relationship. The only cure was to get back together – cut and dried.
During this time, I had several friends tell me that it would get better with time. I can tell you now that they were right. Of course, few of us can see this at the time.
