Elmo Appeals to Kids of All Ages

I think that everyone I know has a favorite Muppet, and that includes adults.  That is because the bright, funny, entertaining creatures have been around a long time and have taught at least two generations of kids how to spell, among other things.  Then there are the wonderful toys.  My children loved Elmo and his face was on everything from sheets to sleeping bags.  Naturally we had the plush creatures as well.  This Christmas my grandchildren all want elmo tickle hands and they are pretty sure I will buy them.  They are right about that.  What they do not know is that I will also buy one to add to my collection.  After all, who does not love Elmo?
