It’s very important that when using Horse Blankets that you know when to put them on your horse. If you use them in too hot of weather, it can affect your horse and they can overheat, causing many health problems that could make your horse sick. They come in wool and cotton, and those are the older models that aren’t very helpful when wet or combined with the elements. The newer models are in newer materials that are waterproof and windproof, with different layers that are virtually weightless and will not overheat your horse. When using a horse blanket, always make sure you’re using the right kind for your horse.
