If you’re hosting a themed baby shower, chances are that you’ve purchased the entire theme of decorations from invitations to table cloths for the event.  However, there are some homemade invitation ideas that can add to the fun of your theme.  We once were invited to a beach themed party on mini beach balls.  Card stock cut and folded like a diaper with a pretty ribbon glued to the area where you’d safety pin.  Parchment paper rolled like a medieval announcement and secured with pastel ribbon is also a fun way to handle a Mother Goose themed shower.  Open your imagination and let the ideas flow and you’ll have a unique invitation for wonderful celebration for mother and baby.
