Not taking an Ira Minimun Distribution could really help me out this year

I’ve heard a lot of talk about this new Worker, Retiree and Employee Recovery Act of 2008.  If I understand what this all is talking about, then it would mean that I don’t have to take an Ira Minimun Distribution for 2009.  From what I’ve heard, the reasoning behind this is for the people that have lost a huge amount of money from their retirement accounts to maybe recuperate some of those losses.  Depending on what the total amount in your retirement account, it could be a significant amount for some people.  Hopefully, they will be able to earn more and save up for their distribution next year.
