High Blood Pressure and the Overuse of Salt Warnings
May 21, 2009 5:34 am HomeOne of the warnings doctors give to those who suffer from high blood pressure is to cut down on the use of salt. Like most things we eat, our taste can be trained to accept a reduction is such things as salt, and sugar, if we really want to. At one time I used to put salt in all my vegetables during cooking. And then, when my food was on my plate, I’d often add more salt to the meal. Silly really, it’s not worth risking your health by overusing any product. No doubt salt has its rightful place in the kitchen, but overuse is definitely not a good idea.
