The Different Layers of Mattresses

Basically, mattress is the probably the most important of a bed. Without mattress, lying in the bed won’t feel comfortable. In modern furniture, upholstery is used for the top layer. It also serves as the protection of the mattress. Aside from it, mattress also features insulator, middle upholstery and quilt. The insulator is responsible for separating the mattress core from the middle upholstery. The middle upholstery is usually made of cotton fibers, non-woven fiber pads, egg-crate foam and polyester fibers. The quilt is the top layer of the mattress just behind the top upholstery. It is responsible for providing soft feeling and texture.
