One of the best and most well know home treatments for acne is using over the counter medications. The one that has been around the longest and actually is very effective is using a cream or ointment that contains Benzoyl Peroxide. This, along with washing your face with a gentle cleanser. Try to avoid touching your face and eat a healthy diet and avoid eating processed or “junk” food. Also as long as you’re not taking any medication that would make you sensitive to the sun try and get out in it daily as it has a drying effect on acne.
