Moving to Dublin
June 29, 2009 3:59 am BusinessI was made redundant about four months ago. At first I thought it was the end of the world and I had no idea what to do next. It seemed that all the news stories were about doom and gloom with the economy and I was so worried that I wouldn’t be able to find anything. Where I live is quite small and there aren’t a huge amount of opportunities, especially in the finance field. Once I had been looking for a couple of months, one of my mates suggested that it might be worth extending my search to include some of the bigger cities such as Dublin. So I rang a few recruitment agencies in Dublin and they came up with quite a few options, one of which actually turned into a job which is amazing.
