I should start learning how to get out of debt
July 5, 2009 6:10 pm BusinessI really need to learn how to get out of debt. To be honest, I see debt as a kind of voluntary slavery, where you decide because of lifestyle or crisis that you are willing to sell a portion of your future for money today.
It restricts you from being able to travel freely, pick a job that might not pay much because you want it, etc. It’s filled with dozens of conscious and subliminal restrictions.
That’s one of the reasons I’ve been reading up on getting out of debt. Perhaps I can learn enough to actually take concrete steps. I’ve read about debt consolidation, debt settlement and other ways of getting debt free. Who knows?
